Experience a unique, once in a life time experience, Swimming with the whale sharks is a once in lifetime experience. These gentle, giants measure up to 40 feet and weigh over 8 tons, making them the largest fish in the world. Every year between June and September whale sharks migrate to the Riviera Maya to feed on the abundant plankton found in the area.

Your adventure begins around 7 AM when a luxury air conditioned van picks you up from the lobby of your hotel. We then drive north for approximately 45 minutes to Punta Sam. Once here you will and receive a short briefing of the tour over coffee and cookies. We then head out onto the Caribbean and start the tour.  Our boats are top quality and offer comfort, safety and speed to ensure your day is perfect. Whilst skimming across the turquoise waters we often see manta rays, sea turtles and dolphins.

After approximately 45 minutes we will reach the whale sharks and the fun begins. Together with a professional guide you jump into the water and swim with these massive and docile creatures.  Once everyone has been in the water a couple of times, we will then head to the nearby Isla Contoy and snorkel along its beautiful reef. There are an abundance of fish, coral and fauna here which will simply amaze you.

Once the tour is over we return to Punta Sam and expect to be back to your hotel around 2 pm.
